The Southampton Hackney Association offers a pre-booking service for both one-way transfers and for a range of local area tours and trips. Just complete our Trip Enquiry Form and we will get in touch to answer any questions you might have to provide a price quotation.

Cruise Ship Passengers

We are proud to be connected with Associated British Ports who manage Southampton Port. When you disembark from your cruise ship look out for our white Hackney Carriage taxis at the cruise terminal.

Our taxis will have a white taxi sign on the roof, a red Hackney Carriage License plate and a coloured permit inside the windscreen. This shows the driver is permitted to transport passengers from cruise ships.

Simply let the driver know your destination and he will assist you with your luggage. We will get you home or to your hotel safely, or can provide shore excursions.

Taxi Trips & Tours

Southampton Hackney Association provides a very flexible service arranging taxi trips and tours using our member drivers. We can provide a quotation for anywhere within the UK, starting from anywhere in the Southampton region - just use our Trip Enquiry Form below.

We undertake taxi tours, starting from the Southampton Cruise Terminal. We can make your taxi tour very comfortable and we are happy to include toilet or refereshment stops along the way. Our drivers have purpose built adapted taxis with ramps for wheelchair users - one per taxi. All our drivers will provide customer assistance when required.

Popular tours include a visit to Southampton City Centre and the Old City Walls, a trip to the historic City of Winchester and Cathedral, an excursion to nearby Salisbury and onto Stonehenge, a trip to beautiful Beaulieu in the New Forest, a drive over to Portsmouth and the Historic Dockyard, over to Windsor to soak up the Royal atmosphere, a day out to Bath Spa and the famous Roman Baths or a trip to London.
